Cadaqués is a fishing village in the province of Girona, in the Autonomous Region of Catalonia of Spain. The village belongs to the comarca (roughly equivalent to a county) of Alt Emporda and is situated on a bay near the Cap de Creus peninsula on the Costa Brava. It is a favorite summer destination for tourists from all over the world and has some renown as a place that some famous artists, such as Salvador Dali, have called their home. The bay of Cadaqués is the largest natural harbor in Catalonia.
